POINTING KNIFE On the 6th of April it is alleged that an argument took place within a residence in the city. This argument escalated to the point where a knife was held by a female and brandished towards another female within this same residence.

Cst. Buchanan and his partner of the North Bay Police Service attended the residence in question and arrested a woman in relation to this incident.

Jennifer DEPENCIER 28 years old of Main St. E. is charged with Mischief and Weapons Dangerous. She is to attend court on the 15th of May.

COCAINE

On the 5th of April during the evening hours it is alleged that a female was in possession of various drugs including what is believed to be cocaine.

Cst. Richard Hampel of this Service was at a location within the city on an unrelated matter and made the above observations.

Desiree SINICROPE 18 years old of Main St. W. is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (cocaine) and Breach of Probation. She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

BOUNCER ATTACKED

On the 24th of March it is alleged that an altercation took place between a patron and a bouncer of a North Bay hotel.

This patron then attacked the bouncer causing various injuries to his face.

Cst.Scott Berry and Bruce Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service began their investigation and completed same on the 8th of April when they effected an arrest within the city.

Mark ASHFIELD 32 years old of Packard Cr. is charged with Assault, 2 counts of Breach of Probation and Assault Bodily Harm. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

BEAR SPRAY

On the 8th of April it is alleged that a Break and Enter took place at a residence within the city. It is further alleged that bear repellent was sprayed within the home.

This was reported to the North Bay Police Service and Cst. Larry Asselin and Tom Robertson culminated their investigation the same day by arresting a male in relation to this incident.

Zachary SAWYER 18 years old of Frost St. is charged with Break and Enter, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon and Breach of an Undertaking. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

BREAK & ENTERS

On the 9th of April at approximately 3 AM a break and enter took place in a residence in the 200 block of Main St. E. Although items were strewed around it does not appear that any items were stolen.

On the 8th of April between the hours of 4 and 6:40 PM thieves forced their way into an apartment in the 500 block of McIntyre St. E. Once inside they stole an X box and various games and DVDs and also used a duffle bag to carry the articles away.

Three potential suspects were seen leaving the building and are described as the following:

1- wearing a long black winter coat

2- small build and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt

3- wearing something red on his head.

On the 8th of April between the hours of 1:30 AM and 6:30 AM thieves entered the Palangio Double Rinks Arena and then pried their way into an ATM and a safe within the premises. They made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
