Domestic Assaults
A domestic situation at 12:50 a.m. on the 26th Sept resulted in the arrest of both participants, a 19 year old female and a 23 year old male. She was charged with assault with a weapon for trying to stab him with a pair of scissors and he was charged with assault for punching her several times in the head. Sgt Paul Brewer and Cst Randy Adair are investigating.

Thefts from Vehicles
On the 25th Sept at11:53 a.m. a male on a bicycle was observed checking and entering vehicle in the YMCA/Memorial Gardens parking lot. He fled the area but was located and arrested by police at Fifth and Fisher Sts. A search of his person located two cell phones that had been taken from vehicles in the parking lot. Christopher Durst 43years of Worthington St W has been charged with 3 counts of theft under $5000 and held in custody for a bail hearing. Csts Bill Gainforth and Randy Adair are investigating.
