Cst. Paul Trahan of the North Bay Police Service commenced an investigation into an alleged drug deal gone bad. He received a complaint of three males who attended a local shopping mall Aug. 27. One of these males, a 26-year-old man, paid for drugs that he did not receive. The other two males, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old began chasing the victim with a baseball bat.

On Sept. 20 Cst. Trahan effected two arrests in relation to this incident.

A 17-year-old male was charged with Weapons Dangerous and is to appear in court Nov. 10.

Tylor Benoit NUGENT, 18, of Main Street, in Chelmsford, is charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Weapons Dangerous and three counts of Breach of Probation. He is to appear in court on the 9th of Nov.

VEHICLE STOLEN
On Sept. 22 the owner of a 1992 Ford ext. cab 4X4 red in colour parked his vehicle at Northgate Square at 8:30 PM. He discovered the vehicle stolen at 11 PM.

The vehicle is further described as having a white cap and Ont. licence plate # YC1 133.
