Theft of Fuel Leads to Theft of Vehicle

On the 6th of Sept. shortly after 7 A.M., Cst. Matt Parker and Scott Buchanan of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a Lakeshore Dr. Gas Bar in relation to a theft of gas.

The officers took the information and a few minutes later located the vehicle and two people near the beach area of the city.

Randy LAWRENCE 36 years old of Armstrong St. in Port McNicoll Ontario is charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Theft Under and 4 counts of Breach of Probation.

Michelle HOWELL 19 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Theft Under.

Both remain in custody for a bail hearing.

Uses Other Name

On the 7th of Sept. shortly before 1:30 A.M. Cst. Larry Asselin and Greg Randall of the North Bay Police Service attended the downtown area re. a fight. The officers arrived to find that bouncers from a local hotel were holding a suspect regarding an assault with a stone.

The officers arrested the man and brought him to headquarters where he gave his name. However Cst. Fernando Cirullo who was at the station recognized the man as someone else.

Mark James ASHFIELD 30 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Assault With a Weapon, Obstruct Justice and 3 counts of Breach of Recognizance. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
