Arson
The North Bay Police are investigating arson at Chippewa Secondary school. The contents of garbage can in a girls washroom was ignited causing it to smoulder. The Fire Dept attended and the school was evacuated. The fire had been extinguished by a staff member prior to the arrival of Fire Services. Investigation has revealed that there are 4 young female suspects not from Chippewa Secondary. Cst Chris Johnson is continuing the investigation.
Sexual Interference
A relationship where two people met on line has resulted in a 17 yr old male being charged with sexual interference. The charges stem from sexual activity with a female too young to consent. Det/Cst Helen Boissonneault is investigating.
