North Bay Police seek public's assistance in B&E investigation

North Bay Police are asking for the public’s assistance in a Break and Enter investigation. At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday May 28, police responded to a call from the residents of an apartment in the 200 block of Maplewood Avenue. While the residents were away, a neighbour heard unusual noise coming out of the unit and texted them at approximately 11:25 p.m. to see if they were okay. In response, the residents returned to their apartment to find that it had been broken into and that musical instruments and jewellery had been stolen. Police are asking the public’s help to locate a broad-shouldered male, approximately 5’11” tall, with dark short hair and olive skin, and who was wearing a black t-shirt and black long shorts at the time. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to Constable Bell at 705-497-5555, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
