INJURIES TO INFANT On the 28th of June during the afternoon hours Det. Cst. Vicky Thisdelle of the North Bay Police Service arrested two adults in relation to injuries to a 6-month-old male infant.

On the 28th of June during the afternoon hours Det. Cst. Vicky Thisdelle of the North Bay Police Service arrested two adults in relation to injuries to a 6-month-old male infant.

The infant had been examined at the North Bay General Hospital for a broken arm and it was discovered that he had numerous healed injuries to his body. The infant was then transported to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto where he remains.

Lea DONALDSON 31 years old of Champlain St. and Kristopher David ETCHES 27 years old of the same address are both charged with Failure to Provide Necessaries of Life as well as Breach of Probation for Kristopher.

Both were kept in custody for a bail hearing.

SEXUAL ASSAULT ON 13 YEAR OLD

On the 28th of June it is alleged that a man sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl within the city. Cst. Bill Gainforth of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male subject a couple of hours later.

Tsutomu MASUDA 76 years old of Summit Dr. is charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. He is to attend court on the 22nd of August.

CAUTION

The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the public in regards to locking their vehicles when not in use. Our Service has received several complaints from citizens throughout the city in relation to thefts from vehicles. In a lot of these instances the vehicles were not secured.

BREAK AND ENTER

Between the 23rd and 25th of June thieves entered a carport/garage in the 1500 block of Lisgar St. and stole two bicycles. One was a black BMX and the other was an 18 speed Raleigh mountain bike, black and silver in colour with rear and front shocks.
