Dangerous Driving
On 22June the North Bay Police received a complaint of road rage where, after being cut off on Lakeshore Dr, a man driving a white Honda Civic followed the vehicle that cut him off. It was alleged that the man in the Honda Civic attempted to force the other vehicle to stop, that he was yelling at them, that he tailgated them, blocked their lane and at one point made a 45degree swerving stop in front of their vehicle. These actions were described as dangerous, reckless and terrified the occupants of the other vehicle. The man drove away when he realized that the couple in the other vehicle phoned the police.

At 11:47 a.m. on the 26th June the same man was observed by police driving a black Dodge pickup and had a teenage passenger. While on Lakeshore Dr he was observed by police to be driving in an erratic and aggressive manner. When he got stuck in traffic, an officer attempted to arrest him but he drove over the curb and sidewalk to escape. He then drove away at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle was later located near the intersection of Worthington St at Sherbrooke. The driver was located in a building nearby where he resisted arrest but was taken into custody. Investigation indicated that, prior to his arrest he had counselled the teenage passenger to conceal evidence.
