Street Crime On June 4, 2014 at 8 p.m., two men from Hamilton and Toronto were stopped in a rental vehicle.

On June 4, 2014 at 8 p.m., two men from Hamilton and Toronto were stopped in a rental vehicle. A search of the two men and the vehicle located 100 grams of crack cocaine, an amount of marijuana and approximately $10,000 in Canadian currency.

Robel Asres, age 27 and of Hamilton, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. Meron Soloman, age 25 and of Toronto, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of marijuana, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

This concluded a month-long investigation by the Street Crime Unit of the North Bay Police Service. Both men are in custody for a bail hearing today.
