WALKS AWAY WITH FRIDGE On the 23rd of Aug. 4 people walked into a local Department store and loaded up a full size fridge and then walked out with it, allegedly without paying. Cst.

On the 23rd of Aug. 4 people walked into a local Department store and loaded up a full size fridge and then walked out with it, allegedly without paying. Cst. Darcy Wall and Erin Honeysett of the North Bay Police Service were called and shortly after 8:30 PM, attended a residence within the city and arrested a male in relation to this incident. The fridge was picked up by the store.

Gilbert SHIMANSKI 39 years old of Laurier Av. is charged with Theft Under and Possession of Stolen Property. He is to attend court on the 3rd of Oct.

ATTEMPTS TO FIGHT POLICE

On the 22nd of Aug. at approximately 5 PM Cst. Jason Long and Anthony Corrente of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a residence for a violent male. The officers arrived and were met by a man who turned violent and attempted to fight with them. The officers had to use a taser to subdue the man.

James Christopher KENNEDY 36 years old of Camelot Dr. is charged with Threatening and remained in custody for a bail hearing.

On the 23rd of Aug. during the afternoon hours Cst. Scott McFarlane and Kailee Bradley of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a local Drug Store.

A female had attempted to allegedly pass a forged prescription for 100 percocets that had been written up for 10 percocets.

The officers attended a residence within the city and arrested a female.

Candace ROBINSON 20 years old of McIntyre St. E. is charged with Utter Forged Document and Fraud. She is to attend court on the 3rd of Oct.


SETTING FIRE


On the 24th of Aug. at approximately 2:40 AM a lone male approached two large refuge containers in the strip mall at 390 Lakeshore Dr.

He then ignited the interior of one of the containers and then the other. Then he stood there and watched the fire take hold.

He is described as male white, 15 to 18 years old, shaggy blonde hair and wore a blue shirt with writing on the front, brown pants and was carrying a suitcase style bag with a shoulder strap.

As the North Bay Fire Department arrived to extinguish the flames, he fled on foot towards the pedestrian bridge that leads to Labreche Dr.
