STOLEN VEHICLE: DRIVER IMPAIRED On April 22 shortly after 12:30 AM Cst. Jody deHaas and Joe Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service stopped an impaired driver on Lakeshore Drive. The vehicle he was driving turned out to be stolen from Meaford.

On April 22 shortly after 12:30 AM Cst. Jody deHaas and Joe Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service stopped an impaired driver on Lakeshore Drive.
The vehicle he was driving turned out to be stolen from Meaford.

Ronald DICAIRE, 34, of no fixed address, is charged with impaired driving, having over .08 alcohol in his system, possession over $5000, and theft over $5000. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Between Jan. 4 and April 20, thieves kicked in a door to a residence in the 200 block of King Street W. and stole morphine-based drugs.

Sometime in the early morning hours of April 21, thieves gained entry to a vehicle on Dane Avenue and stole several CD's, some jewellery as well as a wallet.
