ASSAULT & THREATENING
On the 11th of April at approximately 9 AM it is alleged that a man struck a woman known to him, within the city. It is further alleged that he then threatened this woman with bodily harm.
Csts. Ross Lingley and Richard Hampel of the North Bay Police Service investigated the allegation and arrested a male in relation to these incidents.
Russell MARTIN 38 years old of Nightingale Dr. is charged with Assault and Threatening. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.
STOLEN COPPER
Between the 6th and 8th of April thieves stole 2 spooled rolls of copper cable from a construction site on Dree St. They then rolled the spools off of the lot and burnt the casings off in the bush nearby.
The spools weighed 700 to 800 lbs and had approximately 150 metres of 1” 5000 volt cable.
