Forged Document
At 8:13 pm on the 9th Apr a woman submitted a prescription for Demerol at a local pharmacy. The prescription was thought to be suspicious and when the woman returned to pick it up she was told there was a hold on it, at which time she left. Subsequent investigation revealed it was a forgery. The police contacted the woman by phone and she turned herself in, on the 11th Apr. Robin McKenzie 35yrs of Kipewa was charged with uttering a forged document and will attend court on 28th May. Cst Sarah Kavanagh is investigating.

Weapon and Threat
At 9:37 am on the 10th Apr a man walked in front of a vehicle on Main St E. The driver honked the horn at which time the man pulled out a knife and held up the blade to the driver. The man approached the driver and told him that he was going to kill him. The police attended and Phillip Harris 21yrs of Algonquin Ave was arrested and charged with threatening death and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace. He is to attend court on the 14th May. Cst Randy Adair is investigating.

Mischief
On the 4th Mar a mischief complaint was received when a delivery vehicle on Marshall Ave had the word LINK written on it. At 8:11am on the 10th Apr a man who was aware of the mischief, observed a man writing the word LINK on a building at Marshall and Lakeshore. The witness photographed the suspect and contacted police. The suspect left the area. The investigation and photo led to the arrest of Josiah Laverty 26yrs of Blair St. A small amount of marijuana was seized at the time of arrest. He has been charged with mischief and possession of marijuana. He is to attend court on the 21st of May. Cst Elizabeth Bell is investigating.
