Police arrested and charged one person after receiving a report of a person trespassing.
On January 26, 2024, shortly before 5:30 p.m., members of the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an unwanted person on Highway 17, West Nipissing.
A vacant property appeared to have an unwanted person residing on the property.
As a result of the investigation, Steven JOYCE, 34 years of age, from West Nipissing was arrested and charged with, break, enter a place, and mischief.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 7, 2024, in North Bay.
