Weekend Occurrences
Over the weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 228 calls for service that resulted in 15 arrests. Offences included public intoxication; mischief; causing a disturbance; domestic assault; possession of suspected crack cocaine; conspiracy to commit robbery; break & enter with intent to commit robbery; weapons dangerous; break, enter & commit robbery; assault; assault cause bodily harm; robbery with violence; breaches and warrants.
Update on McIntyre Street East B&E: Another male arrested and charged
Following a media release issued on the morning of Friday, September 26 regarding a break-in and robbery that took place at a rooming house on McIntyre Street East, North Bay Police arrested and charged another man at approximately 5:43 p.m. Friday evening.
Kelly Francis Stephens, age 52, of North Bay faces one count of conspiracy to commit robbery; two counts of break & enter with intent to commit robbery; one count of weapons dangerous; one count of break, enter & commit robbery; one count of assault; one count of assault cause bodily harm; and two counts of robbery with violence. The accused was held in custody for bail.
Driver collides into house on Cecelia Court
At approximately 3:38 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, North Bay Police were dispatched to a residence on Cecelia Court following a report of a motor vehicle collision.
An elderly man drove his car into the house causing extensive damage to it and the vehicle. He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues.
