ONGOING SEXUAL INVESTIGATION

Det. Cst. Steve Trahan and Cst. Bill Gainforth of the Investigation Section of the North Bay Police Service, attended a residence within the city on the 8th of Sept. and executed an arrest warrant for the Toronto Police Service.

This warrant concerns complaints of sexual misconduct against young males.

Sean Patrick LEBLOND 40 years old of Laurentian Av. is charged with 3 counts of Sexual Assault, 3 counts of Sexual Exploitation, Forcible Confinement and 2 counts of Invitation to Sexual Touching. He was remanded into custody awaiting transfer to Toronto.

THEFT OF VEHICLE

Overnight on the 10th of Sept. thieves stole a 1989 4 door white Chrysler from a parking lot in the 100 block of Manitou St.

The Ontario licence number was 957 JTF.

THEFT OF LAPTOP

On the 8th of Sept. at approximately 4 PM a vehicle was left unlocked at the Nipissing University visitor’s parking lot. The owner had left a Toshiba laptop computer Satellite M on the backseat. When she returned to the vehicle the laptop was missing. It is valued at $3000.

THEFT OF WIRE

Overnight on the 8th of Sept. thieves entered the Norfibre complex on Eloy Rd. and stole approximately 30 feet of large diameter copper wire directly from an electric panel. The value is approximately $1500.
