Sometime between Oct. 13 and Oct. 27, culprits broke into a residence in the 900-block Regina Street, North Bay and removed jewelry, a JVC Camcorder and old coins.

On Oct. 28, 2017 in the early afternoon, heated words were exchanged between a lower and upper apartment males in the 300-block of Fisher Street, North Bay. The upstairs tenant opened the door holding a crowbar and swung it at the victim striking the right hand and head.

Michael James, age 33 of North Bay is charged with assault with a weapon and breach of probation. He was released on a promise to appear and undertaking.

North Bay Police are investigating an Arson in the 700 Block of Front Street, North Bay.

At approximately 9 p.m. on Oct. 29 2017, a person described as 6’1, slim, wearing a blue plaid shirt and hoodie walked up to the front yard of 792 Front Street and doused a tree with an accelerant and lit the tree on fire before fleeing on foot towards Algonquin Avenue.

Police and Fire attended and the fire was extinguished. North Bay Police are seeking any witnesses or information.
