DOMESTIC ASSAULT On the 4th of Oct. shortly after 12:00 a.m. Cst. Thisdelle of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence on Banner Ave. in relation to a domestic assault. The victim did not sustain serious injuries.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
On the 4th of Oct. shortly after 12:00 a.m. Cst. Thisdelle of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence on Banner Ave. in relation to a domestic assault. The victim did not sustain serious injuries. A 49-year-old North Bay resident has been charged with assault.

ASSAULT AND THREATENING
On the 4th of Oct. just after 2:00 a.m. Cst. Martin of the North Bay Police Service attended a Barber Ave. residence in response to a 911 call. The victim is known to the accused and did not sustain serious injuries. On a previous occasion in Sept. the accused had made threats to kill and kick the victim in the teeth. A 38 year old North Bay resident is charged with two counts of assault, threatening and breach of probation.

BEAR SHOT IN THE CITY
The North Bay Police shot and killed a bear Saturday evening in the 800 block of Northshore Road.
The large aggressive bear had been spotted in the area for a couple of days and showed no fear of people or the sirens on the cruiser. One officer hit the bear with a rock and the bear walked towards the cruiser. It was shot for public safety

BREAK AND ENTER
Between the morning of the 4th of Oct. and the afternoon of the 5th of Oct. unkown person(s) entered a business on High St. in Callander. The air conditioner was removed from Kennedy Insurance in order to gain access to the office, but nothing was taken.
