Over the weekend, North Bay Police responded to 175 calls for service that resulted in eight arrests. Offences included public intoxication; assault (domestic); assault with a weapon (domestic); mischief (domestic); fraud under $5,000; impaired driving; and breach of probation.

Theft from motor vehicle – Oak Street East

North Bay Police are investigating a theft from a parked truck that occurred on Thursday, November 13, sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. on Oak Street East between Fisher and Sherbrooke.

The complainant reports that the door handle of his locked truck was damaged and that several carpentry tools and loose change were stolen.

Break and Enter and Theft – Douglas Street

North Bay Police are investigating a break and enter and theft that occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 13 and 7 a.m. on Friday, November 14 in a unit of an apartment building on Douglas Street.

The complainant reports that damage was done to the unit’s door and a computer and loose change were stolen.
