FURTHER POPPY FUND CHARGES
William McDaid, 31 years, of no fixed address has been charged with 6 additional charges of theft under $5000.
Four of the new charges are in relation to the poppy fund thefts. The other two new charges are in relation to incidents that occurred in August where a man went around the counter at two different businesses and removed cash from the cash register when the employees were busy.
Mr McDaid is still in custody. Cst Ashley St John is investigating.
