Police Week This week is Police Week and the 2013 provincial theme is “Walk the Digital Beat- A New Era of Engagement”. In keeping with this theme, the North Bay Police Service has produced three videos about “Being safe on the Internet”.

This week is Police Week and the 2013 provincial theme is “Walk the Digital Beat- A New Era of Engagement”. In keeping with this theme, the North Bay Police Service has produced three videos about “Being safe on the Internet”. The first is “Parent Responsibility” and will be released on Monday. The second is “Teen Responsibilities” that will be released Wednesday and the third is the “Police Perspective” that will be released Friday. Weekend
Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 177 calls for service that resulted in 14 arrests. Offences included assaults, domestic assaults, break and enter, impaired driving, thefts, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

Robbery
On May 13th at 4:14 a.m. two men entered a convenience store on main St E. One man restrained the clerk while the went behind the counter to access the cash and the safe. No access could be gained to the safe but the cash was opened and an undisclosed amount of money taken. The clerk was forcibly place in the storage room and the men fled on foot northbound on John St.

Suspect #1 is described as: male, white, 5’10” clean shaven, slim build, wearing a light grey DC logo hoody, white turtleneck, black backpack, grey pants, and black skateboard shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as: male, possibly native, 5’5”, slim build, wearing a black Zoo York hoody with white and red stripes on the end of the sleeves and waistband, and hiking boots. Cst Elizabeth Bell is investigating.
