WEEKEND
Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 247 calls for service that resulted in 16 arrests. Offences included, domestic assaults, assault with a weapon, theft over $5000, fraud, forgery, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.
THEFTS CLEARED
At 8:55 pm on 17th June an investigation into several residential thefts of jewellery resulted in the arrest of Cory Ranger 28 yrs of Cemetery Rd. He has been charged with 2 counts of theft over $5000 and fraud over $5000. He is to appear in court on 14 Aug 2012. Cst Scott Berry is investigating.
FORGED PRESCRIPTION
On the 24th May 2012 a woman attended a local pharmacy and attempted to have a forged prescription filled. She was unsuccessful and left the store. On the 16th June the investigation resulted in the arrest of a Mattawa woman. Lynn Murray 36yrs has been charged with forgery, uttering a forged document, and breach of undertaking.
