WEEKEND Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 247 calls for service that resulted in 16 arrests.

Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 247 calls for service that resulted in 16 arrests. Offences included, domestic assaults, assault with a weapon, theft over $5000, fraud, forgery, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

THEFTS CLEARED
At 8:55 pm on 17th June an investigation into several residential thefts of jewellery resulted in the arrest of Cory Ranger 28 yrs of Cemetery Rd. He has been charged with 2 counts of theft over $5000 and fraud over $5000. He is to appear in court on 14 Aug 2012. Cst Scott Berry is investigating.

FORGED PRESCRIPTION
On the 24th May 2012 a woman attended a local pharmacy and attempted to have a forged prescription filled. She was unsuccessful and left the store. On the 16th June the investigation resulted in the arrest of a Mattawa woman. Lynn Murray 36yrs has been charged with forgery, uttering a forged document, and breach of undertaking. Cst Blake Vietmeier is investigating.
