SEXUAL EXPLOITATION On the 10th of June Det. Cst.s Denis Levasseur and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service arrested a man in relation to incidents that occurred from the end of May of this year to the present.

On the 10th of June Det. Cst.s Denis Levasseur and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service arrested a man in relation to incidents that occurred from the end of May of this year to the present.

It is alleged that a man lured a child over the Internet and further attempted to exploit this relationship for sexual purposes.

Derek BURKE 39 years old of Veronica Dr. is charged with Sexual Exploitation and Luring a Child (internet). He remains in custody for a bail hearing.


BREAK & ENTER ARREST

On the 9th of June at approximately 11:30 PM the North Bay Police Service received a call regarding a break and enter in progress at Cheapskates on Main St.

Cst. Jean-Marc Ethier and James Kilroy of this Service attended and located a young male person some distance from the scene. He allegedly had some stolen property on his person.

A 17-year-old male is charged with Break and Enter and Theft. He is to appear in court on the 19th of June.

POLICE SERVICE BOARD MEETING

The North Bay Police Service Board will be holding their regular monthly meeting this coming Tuesday the 13th of June at the North Bay Police station at 10 AM. Our media friends are welcome to attend and an itinerary will follow.

UNLAWFULLY AT LARGE

On the 11th of June Cst.s Stacy Jackson and Ross Lingley of the North Bay Police Service executed an arrest warrant on a male individual for not having attended the District Jail last weekend for an intermittent sentencing.

Nathan OLDHAM 31 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with being Unlawfully at Large and was remanded into custody where he presently remains.


THEFT OF VEHICLE

Overnight on the 16th of May thieves stole a vehicle from the parking lot of the Travelodge Motel on Seymour St.

This vehicle is described as a 2002 Nissan Altima, silver in colour, 4 doors and the Ont. licence plate was ANLH 375. This vehicle remains outstanding.
