ANGRY On the 25th of July at approximately 10:15 AM it is alleged that a man threatened a woman with death when she attended his residence. This matter was reported to Csts.

On the 25th of July at approximately 10:15 AM it is alleged that a man threatened a woman with death when she attended his residence.
This matter was reported to Csts. Seth Dinsmore and Jason Long of the North Bay Police and a few minutes later the officers arrested a suspect in relation to the complaint.
Justin BELANGER 22 years old of Kehoe St. is charged with Uttering Threats and remains in custody for a bail hearing.

STEALS FROM HYDRO TRUCKS

On the 11th of May of this year it is alleged that several chain saws and gas drills were stolen from Ontario Hydro trucks parked on Graham Dr.
The matter was investigated by Cst. Steve Trahan and local pawn shops were notified of the stolen articles.
On the 15th of July the investigating officer became aware of a suspect and on the 25th of July a man was arrested in relation to this incident.
Steven William WONTA 47 years old of Carruthers St. is charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Fraud. He is to appear in court on the 15th of Sept.

WAKENS TO KNIFE THREATS

On the 24th of July it is alleged that while a man was sleeping within his residence in the city, he was awakened by a man who began to assault him and all the while threatened him with a knife and prevented him from leaving.
Csts. Jeff Warner and Randy Adair of the North Bay Police Service became aware of this incident shortly after and arrested a suspect.
Anthony FISCHER 48 years old of Second Av. E. is charged with Assault, Weapons Dangerous, Threatening, Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

On the 24th of July during the afternoon hours, a teenage girl was walking towards Eva St. when she was approached by a man in a vehicle.
The man said that she appeared to resemble a girl that he should pick up and wanted her to enter his vehicle.
She refused and some hours later contacted the North Bay Police.
The vehicle is described as being silver 2 door economy car, with tinted windows and a beige interior. The man is described as in his late 30s, overweight, had a deep voice, thick beard and was bald.
Investigating officers wish to speak to this man.
