OVERNIGHT THEFT OF EQUIPMENT

Between 1830hrs 12JUL07 and 0600hrs 13JUL07, 2 Kubota excavators were stolen from a business on Graham Dr, In North Bay. These should be the only U15 and U25 model units in the city. Cst. Ian Sharp of the North Bay Police Service is investigating.

Description of Excavators:

1)KUBOTA U15 Excavator, orange and black, bucket and plow on front, open canopy, rubber tracks, U15 written on sides with decal unit #05837, 3529kg, serial #44237. this vehicle has only 40-hrs of use.

2) KUBOTA U25 Excavator, new, orange and black, no bucket, open canopy, rubber tracks, U25 written on sides, 2550kg, serial #30648.

TRAFFIC STOP

On the 13th of July at approximately 12:30 PM Cst. Kyle Hughes of the North Bay Police made a traffic stop within the city.

The driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant and then was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine and marijuana.

Joseph BARRETTE 46 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
