Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 225 calls for service that resulted in 14 arrests. Offences included assaults, domestic assaults, mischief, possession of drugs, breaches of court orders, and several for public intoxication.

Theft
On the 14th July at 12:56a.m. a man was observed to use a grinder to remove a lock from the coin box of a vacuum at the Seymour Car Wash. On arrival of police, the man was located hiding in a ditch nearby. A search located a hacksaw, screw driver, and grinder cut off blades. Bernard Soucie 40 years of Chalotte St was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000, theft under $5000, and possession of burglary tools. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Street Crime
At 5:17p.m. on the 14th July a female and two males were observed in a vehicle parked on Main St at Fisher St. The female was observed to be using a needle and when checked by police 7 ½ morphine pills and 2.4 grams of cocaine were located. Paige Armstrong 20yrs of Norman Ave, Jordan Vanmierlo 27yrs of Decaire Rd and Dani St Pierre 51yrs of Fergus Ontario were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of morphine. All three are to appear in court on the 20th Aug. Cst Brad Reaume is investigating.
