ATTEMPTED ROBBERY On the 12th of July at approximately 2:30AM it is alleged that three people attempted to rob the victim while he was riding his bike home in the Regina St area.

On the 12th of July at approximately 2:30AM it is alleged that three people attempted to rob the victim while he was riding his bike home in the Regina St area. It is alleged that one suspect pushed the victim off his bike while the other two attempted to assault him. The victim was able to defend himself at which time the suspects fled without the bike. The only description of the attackers is the first one is male, 5’11 wearing white clothes and red hat the second one is male with blue baggie pants and a red hoodie, the victim was unable to describe the third attacker.

BREAK AND ENTER

Overnight on the 12th of July, it is alleged that someone broke into a residence in the Oak St. E area by removing the screen on the front door. An assortment of items had been taken including a substantial amount of cash, jewellery, electronics and alcohol.

Sometime between the 5th and the 13th of July it is alleged that suspects broke into a residence on Tweedsmuir Dr area through an open bathroom window. All the closets and drawers had been rummaged through as well several pieces of valuable jewellery were stolen.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

On the 11th of July at approximately 10:00PM it is alleged that a male was upset with his roommates living with him. An argument ensued and the male grabbed a chainsaw and chased the victim through the house and than pinned him to a wall and held the chainsaw his near his face.
Michael FRASER, 43 years old of Highway 11 North is charged with assault with a weapon and was released with court at a later date.

TOO TIRED

On the 12th of July at approximately 7:00AM, Csts. Anthony Corrente and Christian Elia of the North Bay Police Service went to a radio call of a suspicious male lying across the Kate Pace Pathway. The officers went and checked on the well being of the male at which time the male allegedly stated he was not moving and began swinging his fists and fighting with the officers.
Lance BROCKLEBANK, 36 years old of no fixed address is charged with assault police and assault with intent to resist arrest. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
