PUBLIC CAUTION

North Bay Police service wish to caution the public that a female sales person has been attending residences in the city , attempting to get people to sign a contract with a different hydro supplier. Allegations have been made that misrepresentations have been made to trick the customer into signing a contract.

HOME INVASION

On July 10 shortly after midnight 2 males kicked the door in at an apartment located on Clarence St. One male was armed with a sawed off gun and the other carried a bat. The 4 occupants were ordered to the ground and the apartment was ransacked. The 2 males fled the residence through the rear door. The investigation is continuing.

DRUG ARRESTS

On the 09 July a vehicle checked on Cassells St. led to the arrest of 2 males and the seizure of $2500.00 cash and $2180.00 worth of what is alleged to be cocaine, Marijuana, hashish, and oxycontin. Jake Irwin 24yrs of Powassan is charged 2 Counts Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and 3Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Michael Moore 23 yrs of North Bay is charged with 2 Counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, 3 Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and 1 Count of Breach of Probation. Both men will appear in court 17 Aug 2010.
