Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 194 calls for service that resulted in 14 arrests. Offences included weapons dangerous, assault, domestic assaults, impaired driving, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 194 calls for service that resulted in 14 arrests. Offences included weapons dangerous, assault, domestic assaults, impaired driving, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

Weapon Dangerous
On Jan 18th at 12:40pm a man in the hallway of his apartment building on Duke St used a hand gun to threaten other tenants. He was waving the gun around and threatened to kill them. On arrival of police he answered his door holding the firearm and was subsequently subdued using an electronic energy device. The handgun was found to be a pellet gun. It was an exact replica of a Baby Desert Eagle handgun. Leonard Dubeau 59yrs was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, use a firearm in the commission of an offence, and uttering death threats. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Steve Chabbert is investigating.
