WEEKEND Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 153 calls for service that resulted in 13 arrests for offences such as assaults, domestic assaults, breach of court orders and intoxication.

Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 153 calls for service that resulted in 13 arrests for offences such as assaults, domestic assaults, breach of court orders and intoxication.

BREAK AND ENTER

Overnight between the 16th and 17th of December, business offices on the 100 block of Main St E were entered and several desks were pried open and searched. An inventory is being conducted to ascertain what is missing. Cst Scott Buchanan is investigating.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

At 3:00 AM on the 17th of December an altercation between two males on the 100 Block of main St resulted in one of the males spraying the other with bear spray then fleeing the area. The suspect is described as; male in his 20’s, possibly native, 5’7” 180lbs with a light black moustache and beard, black hair wearing a dress shirt with vertical blue stripes, blue baggie jeans, a green belt and a red baseball hat. The victim was treated by paramedics. Cst Doug MacIntosh is investigating.

BREAK AND ENTER

Between 9:30 and 10:00 AM on the 18th of December a church on McIntyre St W was entered by prying a locked door. An office door was also pried open and a black leatherette woman’s wallet was stolen. The contents include personal bank and credit cards along with 2 debit cards belonging to the church. Cst Andrew Keating is investigating.
