Weekend The North Bay Police responded to 178 calls for service that resulted in 21 arrests. Offences included assault causing bodily harm, assaults, domestic assaults, breach of court orders, public mischief, drug possession and public intoxication.

The North Bay Police responded to 178 calls for service that resulted in 21 arrests. Offences included assault causing bodily harm, assaults, domestic assaults, breach of court orders, public mischief, drug possession and public intoxication.

Attack
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on the 13th of Aug 2012 a 60 year old male was standing outside of his apartment building, on Worthington Street, when he was approached by two males. An altercation occurred during which time the victim was knocked to the ground and was kicked to the head repeatedly. Both suspects fled on foot toward Algonquin Ave. The victim suffered serious injury, including lacerations and a broken jaw, and was taken to hospital for treatment. Cst Mark McLeod is investigating.
