WEEKEND Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 208 calls for service that resulted in 15 arrests for a variety of offences.

Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 208 calls for service that resulted in 15 arrests for a variety of offences. They included assaults, domestic assaults, domestic assault with a weapon, threats, impaired driving, breach of court orders, and intoxication.

BREAK AND ENTER
Early on the morning of the 22nd Apr the Chief Commanda Office at Kings Wharf was entered and a cooler safe removed. Two suspects were observed leaving carrying something large. A residence on Lakeshore Dr was checked by police. The cooler safe was located and a man arrested. Russell Joles 23yrs of Lakeshore Dr has been charged with break enter and theft, and possession of property obtained by crime. Cst Kyle Hughes is investigating.

BREAK AND ENTER
Sometime overnight on the 21st and 22nd Apr, a residence on Jane St was entered while the family was sleeping. Entry was gained through an unlocked back door. A Sony PS3 and an IPod touch were stolen. A dog in the residence may have scared the suspect off. Cst Kyle Hughes is investigating.
