Robbery X 2

In the early hours of the 22nd of April, a lone male attended the Voyageur Motel and asked the clerk if he could be allowed inside to use the payphone. Once inside, the male produced a bottle and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk then reacted by producing a pool cue which caused the male to flee on foot towards Algonquin Avc. with no money being taken. Shortly after the incident at the Voyageur Motel, a male attended the Mac’s Convenience store on Algonquin Ave. where again a bottle was produced to demand money from the store clerk. This time, the clerk gave the male and undisclosed amount of money. The male immediately left on foot without further incident.

Description of the male suspect is very similar for both incidents being that he was a white male, 25-35 years old, approx. 5’6”, slim build, having short dark hair with some facial hair. Male was said to be wearing a blue Ski or Winter jacket with hood, and dark pants.

The North Bay Police Service is continuing their investigation into these incidents.
