IMPAIRED DRIVERS Over the weekend officers of the North Bay Police Service were kept busy with impaired drivers.

Over the weekend officers of the North Bay Police Service were kept busy with impaired drivers. During this time period three such drivers were arrested and brought to the police station where they failed the Breathalyzer and were consequently charged.

BREAK AND ENTER
During this past weekend (April 1-3) thieves forced their way into a garage in the 1800 block of McKeown Av. They stole beer and cigarettes. This also occurred on the previous weekend at the end of March of this year.

SMASHES VEHICLE WINDOW
On April 1 a man attended a residence within the city. He then allegedly got into an argument with the occupant and then smashed the rear window of the victim’s vehicle. The owner and friends gave chase and called police. Cst. Dave Wilson and Cst. Helene Boissonneault of the North Bay Police Service arrested the man.

Richard Stead, 18, of Princess Street E, is charged with mischief under $5,000, and breach of recognizance. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
