A Mattawa resident is facing criminal charges as a result of a sexual assault investigation.
On May 8, North Bay OPP's Criminal Investigations Unit investigated a complaint of a sexual assault, in Mattawa.
A 51- year-old person from Mattawa, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Sexual assault
- Trafficking a schedule 1 substance - cocaine
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay today.
The OPP will not release the name of the accused, in order to protect the identity of the victim.
