The North Bay Police Service is seeking the public’s help in a break and enter investigation.

The following is a news release from North Bay Police:

Police investigating break-in on Decaire Road

The North Bay Police Service is seeking the public’s help in a break and enter investigation.

Sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2017, an unknown person or persons broke into a residence on Decaire Road in North Bay. Reported stolen were gold and silver bars and coins that were removed from two safes that were inside the home. The safes were later located in the backyard. Constable Solman is investigating.

Police investigating break-in on Cassells Street

The North Bay Police Service is seeking the public’s help in a break and enter investigation.

At about 9:30 p.m. yesterday, on Tuesday, June 6, a male suspect broke into a business on Cassells Street. Reported stolen was Canadian currency, taken from a cash drawer. The complainant witnessed the suspect flee the scene on a bicycle. Constable Bedard is investigating.

The suspect is described as:
a Caucasian male;
approximately 5’-6” tall and 140 lbs;
with a clean-shaven face;
wearing white gloves, a white and grey hoodie, black/blue jacket;
riding a blue mountain bike; and
carrying a reusable grocery bag.

Police investigating a fail to remain collision

The North Bay Police Service is currently investigating a fail to remain collision.

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., a motorist parked her black BMW car in the parking lot of the North Bay Mall on Lakeshore Drive. When she returned she noticed her vehicle had been struck, leaving significant damage from the rear door to the back bumper. Constable Solman is investigating.
