Update on McIntyre Street East B&E and robbery - Six people arrested and charged

Following a media release issued yesterday morning regarding a break-in and robbery that took place at a rooming house on McIntyre Street East, North Bay Police arrested and charged six people yesterday.

All of the following are currently in custody awaiting bail hearings today, accused of the following charges:
Neville Wright, age 42 of North Bay
One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery
One count of weapons dangerous;
One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
One count of assault;
One count of assault causing bodily harm.
Dylan Wright, age 18 of North Bay
One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
One count of weapons dangerous;
One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery
One count assault;
Once count of assault causing bodily harm; and
One count of breach of recognizance.
Allan Shawana-Manitowabi, age 18 of North Bay
One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
One count of weapons dangerous;
One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
One count of assault
One count of assault causing bodily harm;
Three counts of fail to comply with disposition; and
One count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that the accused demanded money and drugs from the occupants at knifepoint and that only a number of cigarettes were taken.

As a result of this incident, three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. Two were transported to hospital for medical attention on the night of the attack.
