Assault Investigation Leads to Arrest

On November 22, members of the North Bay Police Service received information involving allegations of assault. An investigation was immediately conducted and, as a result, North Bay Police Constable Barry MacIntosh has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault and one count of criminal harassment. The investigation is continuing.

MacIntosh has been held pending a bail hearing and has been suspended from duty under the provisions of the Police Services Act of Ontario.
