MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION North Bay Police Officers have conducted an investigation into a two vehicle collision and roll over which occurred at approximately 6:51pm on November 11, at the intersection of High Street and Galt Streets in North Bay.

North Bay Police Officers have conducted an investigation into a two vehicle collision and roll over which occurred at approximately 6:51pm on November 11, at the intersection of High Street and Galt Streets in North Bay. It is alleged that a pick-up truck occupied by two males was north bound on Galt Street, failed to stop for a stop sign and came into collision with a car with three occupants. The pick-up then lost control and rolled onto its side. North Bay Police, North Bay Fire Services, and Paramedics attended the scene, which was turned over to the Accident Reconstructionist Section of the OPP.

The 22-year-old driver of the truck fled the scene leaving his injured passenger in the truck. The passenger and all three occupants of the car were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.

The suspect driver was located at his residence on Galt at 12:30 a.m. and was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing today.

Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident
Breach of Recognizance of Bail

WEAPONS OFFENCES
Cst. Chris Johnson is investigating an incident occurring in the area of Chippewa Secondary School on Wednesday, November 10, where it is alleged a 17-year-old male was waving a knife around. Police located the suspect a short time later on Trout Lake road, searched the suspect and recovered a hunting knife in a sheath inside if his pants. The youth held for a bail hearing charged with:

Carry a Concealed Weapon and 2-counts of:
Failing to Comply with A Sentence or Disposition
