On 01 Nov a North Bay Woman received 2 phone calls advising her she was a big winner of a cash prize from readers digest. She was told that she had to pay the tax on her winnings and she was asked for her debit card information which she supplied. The card has now been cancelled with no loss. The North Bay Police want to advise the public not to give any personal or financial information to anyone by phone, computer or in person unless you initiated the contact and know who and why you are dealing with them.

Break and Enter
Between 5:30 pm and 10:20 pm on the 30 Oct, a residence on Hwy 63 E was entered. Property stolen includes 2 sets of Beats headphones, an ASES computer, an X Box 360, a Mac Book and an undisclosed amount of cash. Cst Darcy Wall is investigating.

At 2:41 am 02nd Nov a young male and a female were arrested in the area of Jane St for trespassing by night. A search of their persons located break in tools, a prohibited weapon and property reported stolen from a recent break and enter in the area. The investigation is continuing.
