MOLOTOV COCKTAIL At 9:05 PM on the 17th of May, two men threw a Molotov cocktail at the door window of a residence on the 100 block of Main St E. It is alleged that a monetary debt was the motivation behind the act.

At 9:05 PM on the 17th of May, two men threw a Molotov cocktail at the door window of a residence on the 100 block of Main St E. It is alleged that a monetary debt was the motivation behind the act. The incendiary device did not break the window and it fell and smashed outside the door.

The men fled and the fire was put out by the resident. Witnesses followed the suspects and they were apprehended by police on Second Ave at 9:23 PM.

Kyle Cort 23yrs, of 2nd Ave, and Robert Levesque 40yrs of Fisher St are both charged with mischief endangering life, possession of incendiary material, and breach of a prohibition order.

Both men have been held in custody for bail hearings. Csts Dan Weber and Steve Carleton are investigating.
