Found Property
On May 16th at approximately 10:00am, the North Bay Police Service recovered welding equipment and other various tools in a bush area in the 1400 block of Main Street West. Should anyone have any information regarding this found property, please contact Cst. Shepstone of the North Bay Police Service at (705)497-5555. The investigation is continuing.
R.I.D.E Victoria Day Long Weekend
The North Bay Police Service will be stepping up their RIDE spot checks this May long weekend. People are encouraged to refrain from drinking alcohol if they intend to drive a vehicle. Make alternate arrangements if you intend to drink while enjoying the long weekend. A charge of impaired driving can result in an immediate suspension of your driver’s license and impoundment of the vehicle you are driving. A conviction can result in a further driver’s license suspension, the mandatory cost and use of an ignition interlock system when driving any vehicle for a period of time, as well as increased insurance costs.
The North Bay Police encourage citizens to make the right decision and don’t drink and drive.
