The North Bay Police Service has located the owner of a dog which allegedly bit a young boy Wednesday at the Rock Street outdoor ice rink.

Cst. Jeff Warner, the investigating officer, has advised that the dog in question has not had all of its shots. Police said they were able to locate the dog and its owner through tips generated by the media.

OFFICERS ON WAY TO TORONTO
On March 13 during the early morning hours, a woman was allegedly physically and sexually attacked, by a man known to her. This occurred within a North Bay home. The next day, relatives of the victim were able to intercede in the matter and the assailant left the scene.

The North Bay Police Service was then called and Det. Cst. Ray Yelle and Tina Murphy commenced their investigation. The victim attended the North Bay General Hospital for treatment.

On March 17 members of the Toronto Police Service arrested a male individual in relation to this investigation.

Early this morning two North Bay officers were on their way down to Toronto to transport the individual in question.

Warrants for sexual assault, two counts of breach of probation and assault will be served on Jason HART, 33, of Dennis Street, in Toronto. He will then be brought before a North Bay Court.

BREAK AND ENTER ARREST
On March 17 during the afternoon hours Det. Cst. Aaron Northrup and Cst. Larry Asselin and Cst. Vince Corrente of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence in North Bay and effected an arrest, without incident, in relation to a break and enter into a home on Jane Street Feb. 22.

A 17-year-old male is in custody for a bail hearing, charged with break and enter and committing a crime, breach of probation and fraud.

BREAK AND ENTER
Overnight on on March 17 would-be thieves entered a back yard in the 100 block of Carlo Crescent and proceeded to cut the dead bolt on the garage door. No entry was gained and it appears that a motion sensor light frightened them off.

FURTHER B&E INFORMATION
Yesterday the North Bay Police Service reported a break and enter in a residence within the 600 block of Galt Steet.
Today police further report that the investigator Cst. Al Bedard is looking for a male who was seen in the area of Ann Street and Cedar Street at 4:30 PM. He was wearing blue jeans, white running shoes and a blue hood with
a hat. This person has been seen in the general area before. Cst. Al Bedard may be reached at 497-5555.
