Robbery At 7:00p.m. on the 20th June a woman in the parking lot at Seymour St and the Bypass confronted a man about blocking a wheelchair access she was going to need.

At 7:00p.m. on the 20th June a woman in the parking lot at Seymour St and the Bypass confronted a man about blocking a wheelchair access she was going to need. When he swore at her and refused to move his vehicle she attempted to use her cell phone to take pictures. He grabbed her by the wrist and punched her in the arm while attempting to take her cell phone. When she told him she had called 911 and the incident was being recorded he stopped. Matthew Patton 22years of South River was arrested in a store nearby and charged with robbery. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

Assault with a Weapon
At 3:51a.m. 21st June North Bay Police responded to a report of 6 men fighting at McKeown Ave and Algonquin Ave. Prior to arrival of police the participants had left but the fight started again near Stockdale Rd. On arrival of police on Stockdale, 3 males had fled and one man was located that had a lacerations to his arm and shoulder. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. The investigation is continuing.
