FURTHER INFORMATION RE. STABBING
Our Service continues to investigate the stabbing that was reported to the media this morning.
Further information is that the male victim in question is 39 years old and received injuries to the hand, side of torso and leg and was released from the North Bay General Hospital after treatment.
The exact location of this assault has not yet been ascertained and there are presently no suspects.
It is not expected that any other news on this incident will be forthcoming this weekend.
STABBING INCIDENT
The North Bay Police Service is presently investigating an alleged incident of stabbing. The male adult victim was treated at the North Bay General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was released.
This incident was alleged to have occurred during the evening of the 5th to the morning of the 6th of July.
