SCHOOL BUS SAFETY

The North Bay Police Service reminds motorists that School Buses will be back on City Streets as of Tuesday September 2nd. Under the Highway Traffic Act all Vehicles are required to stop for the school bus in both directions when the bus’s overhead lights are flashing. The fine for passing a school bus with lights flashing is a minimum $495.00, and a maximum of $2000.00, plus six demerit points.
