The North Bay Police Service is currently investigating three break and enters that were reported to have taken place over the past two days.

Two residences on Manitou Street

Sometime overnight between Wednesday, August 20 and Thursday, August 21, an unknown person or persons entered a residence on Manitou Street. The complainant reported that computer equipment and a backpack were stolen.

Just after midnight on Thursday, August 21, another residence on Manitou Street was also the target of a break and enter. Food items were reported to have been stolen. A witness reported seeing a 6-foot tall man wearing dark baggy clothes and a black backpack with a purple stripe leave the residence.

One residence on Giroux Street

In the afternoon of Thursday, August 21, an unknown person entered an apartment on Giroux Street while the tenant was away. Prescription medications were reported stolen. A witness reported seeing a 6-foot tall person wearing a brown hoodie leave the apartment at approximately 2:15 p.m. The suspect’s gender and estimated age are unknown.
