REMINDER The North Bay Police Service wishes to advise the driving public that our officers will be patrolling at various times of the day and night in relation to our RIDE program over the August long weekend.

The North Bay Police Service wishes to advise the driving public that our officers will be patrolling at various times of the day and night in relation to our RIDE program over the August long weekend.
The RIDE unit will begin Friday the 1st August until Monday the 4th of August 2008.

Impaired drivers are not only driving during the early morning hours as well as the afternoon hours. Our officers and our RIDE unit will be keeping this in mind when on patrol.

REMINDER

The North Bay Police Service would like to advise the community that Memorial Drive is now closed to all regular traffic until Monday the 4th of August, as well Oak St. is closed due to the regular construction. This is causing a lot of traffic congestion in the downtown area as well on the overpass to Lakeshore Dr.

PUBLIC MISCHIEF

On the 31st of July at approximately 10:00PM, a male youth was arrested for Public Mischief in regards to an alleged false allegation regarding a Sexual Assault.
Cst. Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police Service conducted his investigation and revealed the alleged allegation had been fabricated.
The male youth was released with court at a later date.
