At 9:15 pm on 11 Apr 2 men were observed by the street crime unit to be smoking Fentanyl in a vehicle on Fifth Ave. Both Men were arrested and a search located 3 Fentanyl patches. Investigation revealed that the two men were responsible for the theft of a Playbook from a dept store and one had been trafficking to the other. Shayne Vaillancourt 24yrs of Regina St was charged with possession of Fentanyl and theft under $5000. He is to appear in court on 21st May. Christopher Come-Egan 24 yrs of Cartier St was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking and theft under $5000. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
