OPP seized cash, Fentanyl and brass knuckles in a Sturgeon Falls drug raid.

A drug bust in Sturgeon Falls yesterday led to the seizure of almost $7,000 worth of drugs and the arrest of one man.

On July 22 the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a house on Demers Street in Sturgeon Falls.

Police seized drugs suspected to be Fentanyl, $6,735 in cash, and a prohibited weapon, brass knuckles.

The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be $6,840 say police.

Jerome Fuller, 20, of Brampton is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioids
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Unauthorized wossession of weapon

Fuller is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
